The Face Painter arrives at the venue with the face painting equipment and materials and sets up the face painting table and seating in the area designated by the client. In the event of walk-about face painting (such as at a football stadium), the face painter carries their materials in a bag/container which will prevent the liquids from spilling. Children are invited to sit down one-by-one and have their face painted. The Face Painter assesses if the child has allergies, eczema, cuts, bruises, etc. – i.e. reasons why they may not be able to have their face painted. For the children who can have their face painted, the Face Painter paints the children’s faces and arms, depending on the requirements of each child (e.g. younger children tend to have smaller designs on the cheek or arm). Face Paints and materials are used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Face Painting water is changed frequently. When the booking contract duration is over, the face painter packs up the face painting equipment and materials, and vacates the venue. |
